The Hoymiles HiBattery AC is an innovative, AC-coupled energy storage solution that was specifically developed for subsequent use in existing photovoltaic systems. It makes it possible to efficiently store excess solar energy and feed it back into the home network at a later time - for example in the evening or when there is increased energy demand. As a result, it increases the self-consumption rate and significantly reduces the purchase of grid electricity.

Thanks to the AC coupling, the HiBattery AC can be installed independently of the existing inverter. This makes them particularly attractive for retrofitting, as no complex conversions or system changes are required. It is easily integrated into the existing power grid and works intelligently with existing PV systems.

The modular design allows the storage capacity to be flexibly adapted to individual requirements. Multiple battery modules can easily be combined to increase overall capacity. This makes the HiBattery AC suitable for both smaller single-family homes and larger applications with higher energy requirements.

All important operating data – such as charge status, energy flows or consumption statistics – can be monitored in real time via the Hoymiles Energy app or the S-Miles Cloud system. This means users always have an overview of their energy budget and can optimally control their electricity usage.

The Hoymiles HiBattery AC also impresses with its high conversion efficiency, reliable safety functions and long-lasting cell technology (lithium iron phosphate, LiFePO₄), which ensures maximum operational safety. The compact design, quiet operation and easy wall mounting enable flexible installation indoors or protected outdoor areas.
